AVG Business Agent Release Notes 2024

 

The Business Agent releases for Avast and AVG brands (including the On-Premise Console agents) run on the same cycle, usually once per month, towards the end of the month.

This article provides information on the AVG Business Agent 2024 releases and is updated throughout the year.

June 2024

Agent Version 24.3 (June 6)

Release Summary

This Business Agent release brings bug fixes and minor enhancements.

New Features & Enhancements

• Links to AVG Privacy Policy and EULA are now included in all installers. Also, during agent installation, a "Legal" folder is created in \Program Files (x86)\AVG\Business Agent (or \Program Files\... for 32-bit Windows), containing EULA.url and Privacy.url files with links to those documents.
• Other minor enhancements.

Resolved Issues

• Fixed Patch Management installation failure.
• Other minor fixes.

March 2024

Release Summary

This Business Agent release brings bug fixes and minor enhancements.

February 2024

Agent Version 24.1 (February 7)

Release Summary

This Business Agent release brings OpenSSL and AppRemover updates.

New Features & Enhancements

• OpenSSL will be updated to version 3.1.4 in this release.
• AppRemover, which is responsible for our competitive removal during agent setup, is updated in this version to resolve some issues with failure to remove supported software versions.

Resolved Issues

• Minor bug fixes.
