Data Shredder

Data Shredder lets you irreversibly erase your files or whole drives so that there is no way for anyone to restore and misuse your data. For this component, you can only configure the type of algorithm to be used when shredding:

  • Random overwrite (in this case, you can also select the number of passes, which can go up to 100)
  • DoD (Department of Defense) 5220.22-M algorithm
  • Gutmann algorithm
