Antivirus Overview

Antivirus Components

  • File Shield: Scans programs and files saved on the device for malicious threats as they are opened, run, modified, and saved to help prevent any detected malware from infecting the system.
  • Web Shield: Scans transferred data when browsing online to help prevent malware from being downloaded and run.
  • Mail Shield: Checks incoming and outgoing email messages in real time for viruses and links to malicious websites.
  • Behavior Shield: Monitors processes on the device to detect and block suspicious files based on their similarity to other known threats.
  • Firewall: Monitors network traffic to protect from unauthorized communication and intrusions.
  • Exchange: Helps protect Microsoft Exchange Server against threats without interfering with its performance.
  • SharePoint: Helps protect Microsoft SharePoint Server against threats without interfering with its performance.
  • Data Shredder: Irreversibly erases selected files, folders, or entire drives by overwriting them with meaningless data multiple times before deleting them, which prevents their restoration or misuse.
